Located in the heart of Covent Garden, this project involved the design of a three-bedroom duplex penthouse with a private roof garden. The apartment was aimed at a buyer with a love of the arts, perfectly positioned just across the plaza from the Royal Opera House.

The brief was to create a sophisticated yet welcoming turn-key home, centred around an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space designed for entertaining.

Working to a defined budget and a tight programme, the design incorporated bespoke joinery throughout, including concealed leather-padded storage around the television, and a custom-designed marble corner fireplace as a focal point in the sitting room.

The studio worked closely with the architects to coordinate material selections, including marble choices and bathroom layouts, alongside lighting and electrical planning to ensure a cohesive result.

The project proved a great success, leading to further commissions, including two additional penthouses and a number of furnished rental apartments for the developer’s wider residential portfolio. This marked the beginning of a long-standing collaboration, resulting in the design of nearly 20 apartments in total.
